Certification

• Endorsement application fee - $50.
• Certificate application fee -  $75.
• Certificate Registration fee -  $10 per year.
  

Initial certificate holders may renew after April 1st of their 4th year of teaching.
 

Other certificate holders whose certificates have been exempt for the full cycle cannot renew until April 1st.

CAUTION: Certificates are considered LAPSED six months after registration expires. If you have questions, please contact Certification at 309-477-2290.

Please note: When a transcript is required, it must be an official transcript. To be considered official, a transcript must arrive at the Regional Office of Education in a sealed envelope that you have not opened, just as you received it from your college or university
